Bimal Kumar Saha & Co. is located right at Durgabari More. If you know English Bazar, you know how busy that intersection can get. Our place is under the jurisdiction of the English Bazar police station, which is just down the way. It’s a lively part of town with lots of shops and people moving about constantly. We have been operating from this spot for quite a while now. The building is older, but it serves us well for what we do. Usually, the mornings are the most hectic when the markets nearby start opening up. We spend our time checking through ledgers and making sure the supplies are where they need to be. There isn't much space for sitting around. Most of the day is spent on our feet. The noise from the street comes right in, but you get used to it after a few weeks. Sometimes we grab a bite from the stalls at the More when we have a quick break. It's an honest living and we have a lot of regulars who stop by just to say hello or check on their orders. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that, just a few of us making sure the business keeps running smoothly. It’s a bit cluttered inside, but we know where everything is kept. That’s just how it goes here in the heart of English Bazar.
