Bikki Ice Cream Factory

Bikki Ice Cream Factory is located right on the Main Road over in Baluchar. We are situated very close to the petrol pump, which is a good thing since there is always someone stopping there. English Bazar is a busy taluka, and being in this specific part of the district means we get to see a lot of people moving around. The factory is a very functional place, nothing fancy or decorated on the outside. We just use the space to get our work done every single day. The noise from the main road never really stops, so you hear horns and engines all day long while you work. Inside the building, it is mostly just the low hum of the cooling units. We have a small group of people working here, and we have all been together for quite a while. Our shifts start early in the morning so we can get things done before the sun gets too hot. The floors are usually a bit wet because we are constantly cleaning between the different batches. It is a lot of manual labor, like moving heavy boxes and constantly checking the temperature gauges. We don't have a big corporate office, just a small wooden desk where we keep the paperwork. Sometimes we sit out front near the road when things quiet down, just watching the cars go by. It is a simple operation that keeps us busy, but that is how we like it in Baluchar.
