Port Land Bricks Llp

We’ve been here at Chavittani Kunnu for a bit now. Making bricks isn't fancy work, it's dusty and involves a lot of outdoor time. We sit over in Olavattur near Kondotty. Most days you'll see the trucks coming in and out. It’s a local operation, nothing too big. People around Malappuram know the spot. We spend most of our hours checking the kiln and making sure the batches turn out okay. It gets hot here, especially in the afternoons. Sometimes the rain messes with the drying schedule, but that's just part of the job. We don't have a big front office or anything. Just the yard and the equipment. Most of the guys here live nearby. We just focus on getting the stacks ready for whoever needs them. If you drive past the 21/197 building, you’ll see us. It’s not a complicated setup. We just keep at it day after day. The red dust gets everywhere, even on our clothes and in the small room we use for tea breaks. We’ve stayed in this same spot for a while. Usually, someone is around to point you in the right direction if you’re looking for a specific load. It's just a regular workplace where we get our hands dirty. Nothing more to it. We don't really use computers much except for the basic logs. It's mostly just about the bricks and the weather and making sure the trucks are loaded right before they head out to the local sites.
