Ambala Patta Hollow Bricks

We are located at number 24 in Mukkam, which is part of the Kozhicode area. At Ambala Patta Hollow Bricks, we focus on making those hollow blocks that everyone seems to be using for construction these days. It is a bit different from the red clay bricks my grandfather used to make back in the day. We have a couple of machines that help us with the mixing of the cement and the pressing of the blocks. It still takes a lot of manual labor to move them around and stack them up for the curing process. The air here is often very humid, so we have to be careful about how we dry them out so they don't crack. Our yard isn't huge, but we make the most of the space we have. You can usually find me standing near the mixer, making sure the ratio of the mix is just right. We don't have a sales team or a fancy brochure to give out. If you want blocks, you just come down to Mukkam and talk to us directly by the gate. We like it that way because it keeps everything simple and honest. Most of our customers are locals building their own houses or small shops nearby. We see a lot of familiar faces every single day. It is a steady job, and it feels good to see the blocks we made being used in the community.
