We have been running Kc Steels And Cements here in Manjeri for some time now. You can find us right at 215, Vandoor Post, which is just opposite the Jain Hotel. It's a busy spot but easy to find once you get near the hotel. We deal with basic building stuff like steel rods and bags of cement every day. People come by when they are starting a small house project or just need a few things fixed up. We mostly just keep the inventory moving and make sure the trucks can get in and out without too much trouble. It gets dusty, and the work is heavy, but that is just how it is with this kind of business. My staff and I spend most of the morning loading up supplies. We aren't doing anything fancy here, just selling what people need to build. Sometimes the weather makes things slow, especially when it rains and we have to cover everything up fast. If you are driving down towards the Vandoor Post area, you’ll see our place. We don't have a big fancy office, just a desk and a lot of heavy materials sitting around. It’s practical work. Most of our regulars are local guys who know exactly what they want before they even park. We just try to keep the stocks full so nobody has to wait too long. It is a straightforward operation really.
