Pallikkal Steel

We are located over in Kurupath, right in the Kondotty area of Malappuram district. Pallikkal Steel has been part of the local scene here for quite some time. It is a family-run sort of thing, nothing too formal. We handle a lot of steel rods and sheets that people need for building their houses or fixing up shops around the district. The weather in Malappuram can be pretty tough on metal if you don't store it right, so we spend a lot of time making sure everything is kept under cover properly. It gets quite humid here. Usually, the day starts early before the sun gets too hot. We have a few guys who help with the loading and unloading. It’s a lot of heavy lifting, but we’re used to it. People from around Kondotty know the spot well. We don't really do much in the way of promotion. Most people just walk in or give us a call because they saw the sign while driving past. It’s a straightforward business. We buy the steel, we store it, and we sell it to whoever needs it for their work. Sometimes we have to deal with delays in transport coming from the bigger cities, which can be a bit of a pain for everyone involved. We just try to keep things moving and stay on top of the local demand. It is just the way things go around here.
