Al Aqsa Public School

Al Aqsa Public School is situated in Kathikodu, which is part of the Moonupedika and Koolimuttam area. It’s a coastal region, and the school is tucked away in a spot that feels quite local and grounded. Most of our students live just a short walk or bike ride away. The building is a simple one, designed to keep the sun out during the hotter months. We have several classrooms that open out into a central corridor. It’s common to see the teachers standing near the doors between classes, chatting or keeping an eye on the students. The school grounds have a few trees that provide a bit of shade during the lunch break. We don't have the latest technology or anything like that, just the standard desks, chairs, and books. Everyone here knows each other's names, which is one of the nice things about being in a place like Koolimuttam. The pace of life is a bit slower here than in the big cities, and the school reflects that. We just follow the government syllabus and make sure the kids get their work done. In the evenings, after the final bell, the place gets quiet very quickly as everyone heads home to their families. It’s just a regular school in a quiet corner of the world.
