Vivekanand Vidyapeeth Senior Secondary Public School

We are located in Shikohabad, right here in the Firozabad area. It is a senior secondary school, so we have students from the younger grades all the way up to those finishing their twelfth year. The daily routine usually starts pretty early with the morning assembly, and honestly, it gets quite loud once everyone is in their classrooms. Being in this part of Uttar Pradesh means we deal with the heat quite a bit, but we just get on with things. The building has been here for a while and shows some wear, but it serves its purpose for the local families. Teachers spend a lot of their time grading papers in the staff room or trying to keep the hallways organized during the breaks. There is a lot of movement throughout the day, especially when the final bell rings and everyone is trying to get home at once. We do not have anything fancy, just standard classrooms and a place for the kids to spend their time learning. Sometimes the power goes out, or the dust from the road blows in, but that is just part of living in Shikohabad. Most of the staff live nearby, so we know the community pretty well. It is a straightforward place where the focus is just on the daily lessons and making sure the students are where they are supposed to be during school hours. We just take things one day at a time here.
