Arya Ka Inter College

Sikandra Rao is a busy little area in Hathras, and Arya Ka Inter College is right in the middle of it. If you’re looking for us, you just head toward the center of Sikandra Rao and ask around. Most people can point you the right way. We’re an inter college, so we see students through those important final years of their basic schooling. It’s a responsibility we take seriously, but we don't feel the need to shout about it. The building is an older style, typical for this part of Uttar Pradesh. We have high ceilings and heavy doors. It gets noisy when the classes change over, with everyone moving through the corridors at once. We don't have a big budget for marketing, so we just rely on our reputation in Hathras. The parents come in to talk to us about their children’s progress, and we sit in the office with a fan going to keep the air moving. It’s a lot of manual record-keeping and face-to-face conversations. We have teachers who have been here for decades, and they know the families in the area very well. It isn't a perfect system, but it's our system. We keep the books updated and the classrooms tidy, and we make sure the students are prepared for whatever comes after they leave us.
