Our shop is Shop No. 7 in the B Block of Highway Regency in Tundla. It’s right there near the main road, so we see a lot of traffic passing by throughout the day. Being in Highway Regency means we are easy to find for locals and people just passing through Tundla. The shop itself is small, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need into the space. We have a counter where we talk to people and a back area where the actual work happens. It’s usually just a few of us here. We don’t have any fancy displays or bright lights. Most of our equipment is older but reliable. Sometimes the dust from the highway gets into the shop, so we spend a fair bit of time cleaning the screens and the surfaces. Tundla is a place where people appreciate directness, so we don’t spend much time on small talk or sales pitches. We just look at what needs fixing or what software needs installing and we get on with it. The B Block has a few other shops, so there’s a bit of a community feeling among the owners. We might go out for a tea together when things are slow. Our hours are pretty standard, and we try to finish everything by the time we lock up in the evening. It’s a simple shop in a busy part of town, and we’re happy to keep things that way.
