Georgion Academy The International Public School

Out here at Mile Stone-15 on NH-2, we’re a bit far from the main bustle of Firozabad. Shikohabad R S is the nearest landmark for people trying to find us. The road is always busy with long-distance trucks heading towards Agra or Delhi. Our school, Georgion Academy, sits right near the highway. It’s a big building, mostly because we have kids coming in from all the nearby villages. The dust from the heavy road traffic is a constant battle for us. We have a few trees planted to try and block the noise, but you can still hear the engines all day. It’s a plain place, really. We have the usual blackboards and wooden benches in the rooms. The staff mostly comes in on the school bus or their own bikes. We don't have any fancy cafes or anything like that for the students. There is just a small canteen that sells tea and some biscuits. Life here is about the morning assembly and the rush to get into the shade of the classrooms before the afternoon heat kicks in. We do our best to keep the place tidy, but with so many kids and the highway right there, it’s a job that never ends. We’ve been here a while now, and most people in the Firozabad area know the spot. It’s just a place for learning, simple and straightforward, without any of the extra fluff.
