Unjha Spices

Our warehouse is at Plot No D-05, right along the Unjha Patan Highway. We are located near the Shahs Complex, which most people who drive this way are familiar with. Being out here in the Mehsana district means we see a lot of trucks and heavy traffic heading towards the coast every day. Unjha Spices isn't the kind of retail shop where you would go to browse around. It is more of a practical place where things get moved, weighed, and stored. It’s often dusty and quite loud because of the highway being right outside our front door. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or checking the scales to make sure everything is right. The sun hits the building really hard in the summer months, so we try to get most of the heavy lifting done early in the morning. We don't have any fancy decorations or even a proper reception area for guests. It’s just a big, functional space for handling our spices. Some of us have been working at this plot since it was nothing but dirt. We know the daily routines and we know how the different seasons affect the flow of business. We don't really have a big story to tell. We just show up every morning, do the work that needs doing, and head home. It is an honest way to make a living. The constant highway noise is just something you get used to.
