Unjha Spices Hub

Our shop is right on the Unjha Highway Road, at Plot No. G-4 in the Supathy Arcade. We are pretty easy to spot because we’re right near the APMC petrol pump. Being on the highway means there is always a lot of noise and dust from the trucks passing by. It’s a busy spot, which is good for business but can be a bit tiring by the end of the day. We deal in all sorts of spices that come through Unjha. The air around the arcade usually smells like cumin or fennel, depending on what is being moved that day. We spend a lot of time talking to drivers and suppliers who pull over near the pump. The office is simple, just enough room for a desk and some chairs. We don’t really bother with fancy decorations. The floors are usually a bit sandy because people walk in straight from the roadside. We just keep working through the heat. In the afternoons, it gets quite warm, so we keep the fans going full blast. It’s a straightforward operation. We buy, we sell, and we make sure the bags are weighed right. Sometimes the shipments are late, or the weather makes things difficult, but that is just part of being in the spice trade on a major road. We just lock up at night and do it all again the next morning.
