This college is part of the Ganpat University campus in Ganpat Vidyanagar, Mehsana. It is a big campus, so you have to walk quite a bit from the main gate to get to the pharmacy building. The air here feels a bit different than the city because of all the open space in this part of Gujarat. Inside the building, it smells like a laboratory—there’s always that faint scent of chemicals and cleaning supplies. We have long benches in the labs with all sorts of glass bottles and tubes. The students wear their white coats and spend a lot of time looking at their manuals or writing in their journals. The classrooms are large with rows of benches that have seen many years of students. It’s a serious place because pharmacy work requires a lot of focus and precision. The sun in Mehsana can be very strong, so the hallways are usually the best place to stand to stay out of the heat. We have a small canteen area where everyone goes to get tea or a quick snack like poha between the long practical sessions. The faculty members have their own small offices filled with old books, research papers, and journals. It is not a flashy place with modern art on the walls. It’s a functional college meant for study and research. Most people here are just busy trying to get through their lab results and preparing for their next set of exams.
