Nootan College Of Nursing

Nootan College Of Nursing is over by the S.P. Sahakar Vidyadham, right near the Kamana Crossing in Visnagar. If you are in the Mahesana district, you probably know the area. We focus on nursing here because there is always a need for more nurses in Gujarat. The college is part of a larger campus, so there are always people walking around. We have our own labs where the students practice with dummies and medical equipment. It smells a bit like antiseptic in some rooms, which is normal for a nursing school. Our office handles all the stuff like clinical postings and hospital visits. The staff is mostly busy coordinating with the hospitals in Visnagar and Mahesana. We don't put up big posters or anything. People just know we are here by the Kamana Crossing. The students stay in the hostels or come from their homes nearby. It's a lot of studying and practical work. We spend a lot of time on our feet. The building is decent and we try to keep the garden area green despite the heat. It’s a straightforward place where we teach the basics of patient care and medicine. We just want the students to pass their exams and be able to work in a real hospital setting once they finish. The work is hard but it is important for the community around here. We just do our part day by day.
