Ravi Exports

Ravi Exports is situated right opposite the water tank on Railway Station Road. It’s a very easy place to find because the water tank is so big. Being near the railway station means there’s always a lot of movement. We can hear the trains whistling and the announcements from the platform all day. Our office is quite plain. We have a couple of desks and some old wooden chairs. We handle the export of various goods. It’s mostly about paperwork and making sure the containers are ready. Sometimes the office gets filled with boxes that need to be labeled. It’s a small operation. We don't have a big team or any fancy corporate culture. We just do the work as it comes. The road outside is usually crowded with rickshaws and people heading to the station. We’ve been here for a long time and we know the tea seller across the street very well. The building is a bit old and the ceiling fan makes a clicking noise, but we don't mind. We focus on the shipping schedules and talking to the customs agents. It’s a lot of waiting around sometimes and then a sudden rush to get things done. We don't have any slogans or big goals. We just try to get the exports out on time and keep the business steady. That's how we spend our weeks here at Ravi Exports, just working through the shipments.
