Orbit Artisans is situated in Ishwarpark, which is quite close to Rambag in Unjha. Unjha is famous for its markets, but we are a bit more tucked away in our own space. It’s in the Mehsana district of Gujarat, specifically at the 384170 pin code. We have a pretty straightforward operation here. The area is usually a bit dusty because of all the trade and movement in this part of India, but our workshop is where we stay focused. We do artisan work, which takes a lot of patience and time. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning in every room. Usually, the ceiling fans are enough to keep us going. We spend most of our hours looking at the details of whatever we are making. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a suit and tie. We mostly wear comfortable clothes and get our hands dirty when we need to. There’s a lot of history in Mehsana, and we like to think we are just continuing that tradition in our own small way. We don't go out of our way to advertise or make big claims about being the best. We just do the work we know how to do. Sometimes we walk over to Rambag when we need a break from the desks and tools. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living, and we’re happy to be doing it here in Unjha.
