Khedut Putra Agro Producer Company Limited is right in the middle of the Mehsana market yard. Our spot is Plot No D 10, just near Jaykishan Traders. If you've ever been to the market yard, you know it's always full of trucks and people yelling over the noise. It is dusty and loud, but that’s where the business happens. We handle all kinds of agro products coming in from the farms around Mehsana. We don't have a polished office with air conditioning. It’s more of a practical space where we can stack some bags and keep the ledger books. Most of us are farmers ourselves, so we know what it’s like to be on that side of the deal. We started this company to make it easier for us to get our goods to the buyers. It’s a lot of daily grind, checking the quality of the grain and making sure the weights are right. We drink a lot of tea while waiting for the trucks to get loaded. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The market yard has its own way of working, and we’ve been here long enough to understand it. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks. There’s no big corporate strategy here. We just want to sell what we grow and help the other farmers in our group do the same. It’s just how things are done in Mehsana.
