Aayam Buildcon is based at 34 Upvan Bunglows on Visnagar Road. It’s a residential area, so we are surrounded by homes rather than office buildings. We like it this way because it’s much quieter and easier to focus. Our office is just a part of the house that we’ve set up with desks and some computers. We do building and construction work, so we spend a lot of time looking at blueprints and talking to contractors. Visnagar Road is a major route, so we are never too far from our project sites. We are a small company and we don't have many employees. It’s mostly just a few of us handling everything from start to finish. We don't have a big sign outside, so you have to know the house number to find us. We keep our overheads low by working from home. It’s a practical way to run a business without all the extra costs of a commercial office. Sometimes our kids or pets are running around in the background while we are on the phone. We don't try to hide that. We are just real people doing a job. We don't use any fancy language or make big promises. We just talk about what needs to be built and how we are going to do it. It’s a very straightforward approach to work.
