Gayatri Patel's house is where we started Easy4Recharge Online (Opc) Private Limited. It’s house number 79 in Ward 15, right in the Purani Basti part of Saraipali. If you know the neighborhood, it’s a pretty quiet spot most days, though mornings get busy when people start heading out to work. We basically handle recharge services from here. It isn't a massive glass building or anything fancy. Just a regular room turned into an office space where we keep our computers and phones running. Being in a small town like Saraipali means everyone kind of knows each other, or at least knows which house is which. We spend a lot of time sitting at our desks making sure transactions go through without getting stuck. Sometimes the internet acts up or the power cuts out for a bit, which is just how things go around here. We try to stay organized but it’s mostly just a few of us trying to keep things moving. There’s always tea being made in the kitchen and the sounds of the street coming through the window. It’s a simple setup. We deal with digital recharges and payments because that’s what people need nowadays. Most of our day is spent looking at screens and talking to customers who need help with their accounts. It’s not glamorous work, but it fills the day and keeps us busy. We like being part of the local community here in the Basti.
