Xerox & Computer Centre

Our shop is in Dhoolpet, over in Narayanpet. It’s a small room where we have the Xerox machine and a couple of computers for public use. It gets pretty loud when the copier is running all day long. People come in to get copies of their ID cards or print out some forms for government work. We also do some basic typing when someone needs a letter written up for an application. The internet connection can be a bit slow sometimes, which makes the customers wait longer than they want. We have a few plastic chairs for them to sit on. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we haven't had the time to fix it. It’s mostly students and people from the nearby offices who stop by. We keep some pens and notebooks for sale on the side shelf too. Mahabubnagar gets very hot in the summer, so the fan is always running at full speed. Sometimes we run out of toner in the middle of a big job and have to wait for the new one to arrive from the city. It’s a basic place, nothing like the big shops you see in the city. We just open up early and stay until the last customer leaves. Usually, it’s just one or two of us working here. It’s a steady job and we know most of the people who walk through the door every day.
