Sri Ganesh Engineering Co

Down in Bheem Nagar, at 8-4-12, that's where you'll find Sri Ganesh Engineering Co. It’s a busy part of Gadwal, and we’ve been part of it for a good bit of time. The shop floor is usually covered in some kind of metal shavings or oil, which is just how an engineering place should be, I guess. We don't have a big front office with air conditioning. Instead, we have a few desks tucked in the back where we keep the papers. It gets hot in Gadwal, so we have these big fans that make a lot of noise but keep the air moving. People stop by all the time, sometimes just to ask for directions or to see if we can fix something small they brought from home. We try to help out when we can. The building itself has seen better days, the paint is peeling a bit on the south side, but it's sturdy enough. We focus on the machines and making sure everything runs right. My father used to say that a clean shop is a shop with no work, so we stay pretty messy. It’s hard work, and our hands are usually dirty by noon. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just the sign out front that’s a bit faded now. We just do our thing here in Bheem Nagar. We’ve known the neighbors for years, and we all look out for one another.
