Pandu Nayak

Being out here in Pilligunta Thanda means things are a bit quieter than in the big city. Our place is at 4-12, right in the heart of Lingampalle village. You have to travel through some dusty roads to get here, especially when you are coming from Narayanapet mandal. Most people around here know each other by name and we see the same faces every day. We spend a lot of our time dealing with the locals and whatever needs to be handled that morning. It isn't a place with big signs or glass doors. It’s just a regular spot where work happens. Sometimes the rain makes the roads a bit difficult to pass, but we manage just fine. We’ve been here in this mandal for quite a while now. The days start very early when the birds are still loud in the trees. We sit outside mostly because the breeze is much better there than inside the small house. There’s always someone stopping by to chat or ask for something. We don’t really use computers much, just some old notebooks and pens to keep track of things. Life in the village moves at its own pace and we just move along with it every day. It’s honest work and we don’t try to make it sound like more than it is. If you’re looking for us, you just ask for Pandu Nayak near the main village path. It is a simple way to live.
