Ramavath Chandu

Ramavath Chandu is located at Sy. No. 365 in Dubba Thanda, which is part of Appareddypally village. This area is in Madgul Mandal within the Mahabubnagar District. It is quite a distance from the main roads, and you have to know where you are going to find Sy. No. 365. The thanda is a small, close-knit place where everyone knows everyone else. Our work happens right here among the fields and the local houses. It is not the kind of place with paved sidewalks or big office buildings. We deal with the land and the daily needs of the people in Appareddypally. The sun is usually bright and the air is dry. Most of our days are spent outdoors or in a small shed we use for storage. We don’t have a website or a marketing person. If someone needs us, they usually just walk over or ask a neighbor. Life in Mahabubnagar District is about being practical and getting through the day. We have some basic tools and a lot of patience. Sometimes the rain makes the paths muddy and slow, but that is just part of living in a thanda. We take pride in just being here and doing what we can with what we have. It is a simple existence, focused on the immediate tasks at hand and the local community around Sy. No. 365. We don't make much noise about what we do, we just do it and move on to the next day.
