Chandrika Xerox & Book Center And Internet And Typewriting Institute

We've been here at 1-1 Christianpally for a while now. It's right opposite Mvs Degree College, so you can imagine how busy it gets when exams are coming up. The machines are usually running all day. We do a bit of everything here, from the xerox stuff to the book center and the internet side of things. Plus, there is the typewriting institute. It’s a lot of noise sometimes with the keys clicking and the printers going. We open up early and stay till the college crowd thins out. It's just a regular spot for the students to get their work done or grab a notebook. Nothing fancy about the shop, just plenty of paper and ink everywhere. People know us because we’re right there on the main road. Sometimes the power goes out, which is a pain, but we manage. We just keep things moving. Most days it’s just us handling the queue and making sure the copies come out clear enough to read. It's been part of the neighborhood routine. If you walk past the college, you’ll see our sign. We've got the internet booths in the back too. It gets dusty with all the traffic outside, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. I remember when we first set up, the street wasn't even this crowded. Now, with the college right there, there's always someone looking for a specific textbook or needing a quick printout before class starts. We keep the typewriters maintained, though not as many people use them as they used to.
