Zimports Retail Private Limited

Our office is inside Vishaal De Mal at No. 31 Gokhale Road in the Chinna Chokkikulam area of Madurai. Being in a mall is actually quite different from being in a regular street-side office. It is much cooler because of the central air conditioning, which is a big relief given how hot Madurai gets. Zimports Retail Private Limited handles a lot of retail-related imports, so we are often dealing with new stock and inventory lists. We have a small back-office space where we do all the management and clerical work. You can hear the muffled sounds of shoppers and the mall music in the background while we work. It’s a bit of a strange place for a corporate office, but it works well for us since we are in the retail sector. We spend a lot of time coordinating with suppliers to make sure the right products are arriving on time. There are always boxes coming in that need to be unboxed and checked against the invoices. It’s a lot of physical work combined with office tasks. We don’t have a big fancy boardroom; we usually just talk over the desks. The team is small and we all know each other well. Sometimes we grab a quick bite from the food court when things get too busy to leave the building. It’s a practical setup for what we do, and we like being in this part of Madurai.
