V.K.S Maligai Store

Our shop, V.K.S Maligai Store, is right on the Trichy Main Rooad in Melur. It’s a busy spot because of all the people traveling between cities. We see a mix of local residents and people just passing through who need a quick snack or a bottle of water. The building is a bit old, but it stays cool inside even when the sun is beating down on the asphalt outside. We carry all the usual grocery items you’d expect to find in a village store. Bags of grain are piled up in the corner, and we have rows of soaps and shampoos along the wall. I’ve lived in Melur my whole life, so I know the area well. Working here means I get to see my friends and neighbors every single day. We don't bother with fancy signs or bright lights. Most people know us by the yellow paint on the front wall. Sometimes the traffic noise makes it hard to hear, but we manage. We try to keep our prices fair so people keep coming back. It’s not about making a fortune, just about earning a decent living and helping out the community. Every evening we lock up and head home, ready to do it all again tomorrow. The road is always there, and so are we, watching the world go by from the front door.
