A Karthika Marts

A Karthika Marts is up on the first floor at 2/232 Malligai Cross Street. We’re right off the Gomathipuram Second Main Road. It’s a bit of a quieter neighborhood compared to the big city centers. We’ve got our shop set up to serve the local people around here. Since we are on the first floor, people have to walk up the stairs, but they don't seem to mind. We stock a bit of everything that people might need for their homes. The shelves are usually pretty full, and sometimes we have to squeeze things into the corners. It’s a family-run kind of feel. We know many of the customers by name because they live just down the street. We spend our mornings checking the stock and the afternoons helping whoever comes in. It’s not a huge supermarket, just a practical mart for the folks in Gomathipuram. The stairs can be a bit steep, so we often help older customers carry their bags down to the street. We don't have a big corporate office or a marketing team. It's just us and the shop. Sometimes the light in the stairwell flickers, and we have to remember to fix it. We just focus on keeping the shelves stocked with what people actually use. It’s a simple life running a mart, but we enjoy being part of the local community and seeing the regulars every day when they stop by for bread or milk.
