Thangamayil Export Private Limited

We are based at 24 and 25 Chitrahar Nagar, right off the Avinashi Main Road near Gandhi Nagar. Being on the main road makes it easier for the trucks to find us, though the traffic can be a real headache in the evenings. Thangamayil Export Private Limited is mostly about getting goods ready for export. That means a lot of checking labels and packing boxes so they don't break during the long trips. We have a small crew and everyone has to pitch in with everything. Some days I am doing the billing and other days I am helping move boxes in the back. The warehouse gets quite warm in the summer months so we keep the big doors open for a breeze. We have been working out of this spot for some time and have gotten used to the rhythm of the place. It is not a high-tech office by any means. We use old-fashioned notebooks for some of our tracking because it's just easier that way. Sometimes we have a backlog of orders and the whole place feels a bit chaotic with fabric everywhere. But we eventually get through the pile. We are just a local business trying to keep things moving and get our exports out on schedule. It’s hard work but it’s what we do.
