Tamil Architects

We have been operating our office at 79/6 Petchi Amman Padithurai Road for quite some time now. It is situated right by the Nava Sittthi Vinayagar Temple, which makes it easy for people to find us when they are in the area. Our days are mostly spent sitting at our desks and working on various blueprints and building plans. It gets pretty busy around this part of Padithurai, but we have gotten used to the noise and the crowds. We are not a large company with a lot of staff. It is just a few of us here doing the drawings that people need for their houses or small shops. We do not have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It is just a simple workspace with some tables and a lot of paper. People usually walk in because they live in Madurai and heard about us from a neighbor. We try to answer their questions about land and construction as clearly as we can. Sometimes the office is a bit of a mess with all the rolls of paper, but we know where everything is. We like being part of the local community here near the temple. It feels good to see the buildings we drew actually getting built in the streets nearby. We just keep things practical and do the work that comes our way every day without making a big fuss about it.
