Srri Chendhoor Murugan Spinners Private

We are located over at 422 Sekkumedu, right in the Vediyarasampalayam area near Pallipalayam. It’s technically Namakkal district but everyone around here says Erode since it’s so close to the border. The spinning mill is where we spend all our time. The air is always a bit thick with cotton fibers, so we’re used to that by now. It’s a loud place once the spinning frames get going, so we have to shout sometimes to be heard. We have been working out of this Agraharam post address for a good while now. It’s a family-style environment where everyone knows each other’s business and we share meals sometimes. We aren't trying to be the biggest mill out there, just trying to keep the quality of the yarn decent for the weavers. Sometimes the machinery acts up and we have to spend half the day fixing a belt or a motor that decided to quit. It’s just how it goes in this trade. We get our raw materials in, and we spin them out as fast as we can. The trucks come and go all day on the narrow roads, which can be a bit of a squeeze. It gets pretty hot in the summer months, which makes the floor work tougher on everyone. We don’t have a fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably find us on the floor checking the spindles. It’s just honest work, nothing more and nothing less than that.
