Servicing Engineer

I am a Servicing Engineer based out of A. Vallalapatty in the Melur area of Madurai. My place is on Rice Mill Street, which is a very local spot near Azhagar Kovil. This area is quite famous because of the temple, but for me, it is just where I go to work every morning. Being on Rice Mill Street means I am right in the heart of where things happen in our village. I work on all sorts of engineering and service tasks that the local people need help with. The environment here is very traditional, and most of my customers are people I have known for years. I don't use fancy software to track my work; I mostly just write things down in a notebook and keep my tools organized on the bench. The drive from Melur is familiar to me, and I know every bump in the road by now. Tamil Nadu heat is no joke, so we do most of the heavy work early in the day before it gets too hot to breathe. I take pride in being someone the village can count on when a motor or a machine stops working. It is not a glamorous life, but it is a steady one. Rice Mill Street has its own character, with the smell of the crops and the sound of tractors passing by. I just do my part to keep things running.
