Universal Engineering Tools

We’ve been running Universal Engineering Tools out of No. 8/1 in the Mm Complex for a long time now. It’s on Kalpalam Road, right in the Goripalayam area. If you know the neighborhood, you know it can get pretty crowded with people and traffic. Our shop is just one of many in the complex, but we’ve made this little corner our own. We deal with tools and equipment, mostly for other local tradespeople and shops. It’s a dusty job, and the shelves are always packed to the ceiling with bits and bobs. Sometimes it takes us a minute to find exactly what a customer is looking for, but we usually have it buried somewhere in the back. We don't have a fancy computer system to track every single nut and bolt; we just rely on knowing where things were put. The lighting isn't great, and the fan makes a clicking sound, but it's home to us. We’ve seen a lot of businesses come and go in Goripalayam, but we just keep doing what we do. There’s no big secret to it. We just show up in the morning, open the shutters, and see who needs help with their gear. We aren't looking to expand into a giant corporation. We just like being the place where people can find the right tool for their job. It’s practical work for practical people, and that suits our team just fine.
