Sakthi Rubber Products

Our little shop, Sakthi Rubber Products, sits right in the middle of Bethaniyapuram. Specifically at 52/18 in the I.N.T.U.C Colony. It's a busy area with a lot going on. We started out small and stayed that way, mostly making parts for local needs. The workshop can get a bit loud when the machines are all going at once. Sometimes the tea stall next door is the only break we get in a long afternoon. We handle different kinds of rubber molding. It’s messy work, and our hands are usually covered in black dust by noon. People from the colony pop in to ask questions or get something fixed. We aren't a big corporation with suits; we wear our work clothes every day. Shipping stuff out from here takes some planning because the lanes can be tight for big trucks. We've lived and worked in this part of town for years. The guys who work here are mostly from the neighborhood. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a website that works right most of the time, so we just talk to people face to face. We focus on the orders we have on the table today.
