S Govinthraj Store

S Govinthraj Store is right here on the Main Road in L Pudhur, Vadipatti. We have been here for a good while now, just doing what we do every day. People from around the neighborhood stop in mostly for their regular things they need at home. It gets pretty busy out on the road sometimes with all the traffic passing through Madurai. We open up early and stay until the evening. The shelves are packed with stuff, and sometimes it's hard to find things if you don't know where they are, but we usually know exactly where everything sits. It is a simple place, nothing fancy at all. We just sit here behind the counter and help whoever walks in the door. The weather gets hot in Vadipatti, so the fan is always running. My family helps out too when things get hectic. Most of our regulars are folks we've known for years, so we chat a bit about the town and what’s happening. It’s not a big supermarket, just a local shop where you can grab what you forgot to buy earlier. We try to keep things stocked up so nobody goes away empty-handed. There is always something to do, like unpacking crates or dusting off the jars. Life moves along at its own pace here. We are just a part of the daily routine for most people living nearby.
