Ramdev Namkeens & Sweets

We are located over at No : 52/115 in Meenakshi Nagar, right on 1 Street in Villapuram. If you know the area, you’ve probably walked past Ramdev Namkeens & Sweets more than once. The shop is usually busy with the smell of things frying and the sugar being boiled for the sweets. It gets pretty warm in the back where the cooking happens, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t have any fancy marketing people telling us what to do. We just make the snacks and the sweets the way we learned how. Some days the street gets crowded and it’s hard to move around, but we keep the counters full. People from all over Villapuram stop by for a bit of this or that. We try to keep things simple and not overcomplicate the recipes. It’s a family-style environment here, even if we aren’t all related. We’ve been on 1 Street for a while now and we know most of the neighbors. Sometimes the floor is a bit dusty or the bags aren't lined up perfectly, but the food is what matters. We just keep our heads down and keep the stoves going from early morning. It is honest work and it keeps us out of trouble. We are just a local spot trying to do things the right way without a lot of noise or big promises. We just want to get through the day.
