Raj'S Know How Art & Craft

Our shop is located at No. 267 on East Marret Street. We are very close to Simmakal and the Yanaikkal area, which anyone in this part of town knows is always crowded. The street outside is narrow and full of people, bikes, and carts moving all day long. It gets quite loud with all the honking, but we do not notice it much anymore. Inside, we have packed the shelves with all sorts of art and craft materials. There isn't a lot of room to walk, but that is because we try to keep a bit of everything in stock. From morning until we close, someone is usually coming in to look for a specific type of paint or some craft tools. The building we are in is quite old and has that specific smell of old wood and paper. We like being near Simmakal because there is always something happening. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon makes the shop feel a bit stuffy, so we keep the door wide open. We have seen many businesses come and go on East Marret Street, but we have managed to stay put at number 267. It is a family-run kind of vibe here, with no fancy uniforms or corporate rules. We just talk to the customers like we have known them forever. It is a busy, messy, and honest way to make a living in the heart of the city. We do not need anything more than this.
