If you are looking for Rajkumar Engineering, we are at 46 Thilagar Nagar in Sekkalai. Our shop is full of metal scraps, old tools, and the smell of welding and oil. We do all sorts of repair and fabrication work here. Most of the time, the floor is covered in metal shavings and we have to sweep it up every few hours so nobody slips. It is a noisy place with the sound of grinders and hammers going off most of the day. Sekkalai is a busy enough neighborhood and we get people dropping off broken parts or asking for something to be welded together. We don't have a showroom or a waiting area with chairs. People just stand around the workbench and explain what they need fixed. We take on all kinds of odd jobs, even the ones that look a bit difficult. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought because a bolt gets stuck or a machine acts up, but we just keep at it until it is finished. Our hands are almost always black from the grease, no matter how much we wash them. We keep our tools scattered across the benches where we can reach them easily. It is a messy way to work but it is how we have always done things. It is just a small local engineering shed doing what we can for the folks around here. We just hope the machines stay running.
