If you come to visit us, you’ll have to head up to the second floor at No. 1-A/5 on Ponmeni Periyavar Street. The stairs are a bit steep, and the building is older, but it’s where we’ve been for quite a while now. Our office is usually filled with the sound of phones ringing and people talking about job openings. We have stacks of resumes on almost every flat surface, and sometimes it takes us a minute to find the exact one we need. It’s just a few of us here trying to help people find work and helping companies fill their spots. We don’t use any complicated software; mostly it’s just notebooks and a lot of phone calls. Sometimes we stay late because a candidate can only talk after their current shift ends. The fan in the main room squeaks a bit, but we’ve grown used to it over the years. We get people from all walks of life coming through our door looking for a better opportunity.
