Our business is situated at No. 6B on Melapudhu Street in the Villapuram area of Madurai. We have been here for a long time, dealing with all sorts of masalas and spices. The building is quite old and has that specific smell of ground spices that never really goes away. It is a dusty and loud environment because of the grinding machines we use throughout the day. We don't have a modern office or any high-tech systems. We just rely on the same methods we have used for years. The street outside is very narrow and crowded, which makes it hard for anything larger than a small van to get to us. We often have to carry heavy sacks of spices by hand from the main road. It is physically demanding work and we are usually covered in spice dust by the time we finish. Madurai is a very hot city, and working near the grinders makes it even warmer. We don't have any promotional materials or a mission statement. We just make the masala and sell it to the people who need it. Sometimes the quality of the raw spices varies, so we have to adjust things as we go. It is a very hands-on business and we are just regular folks doing our jobs. The pace is slow but steady, and we just focus on the grinding work every day.
