Muscle & Joint Physiotherapy Clinic

Our clinic is over on 2nd Street in Indrani Nagar, right near Mudakku Salai. It’s number 50. If you’re looking for us, we’re the place with the physiotherapy mats and the various elastic bands hanging up. People come in here limping or holding their shoulders, and we spend the day helping them move better. It’s a lot of physical work for us too. We’re constantly moving chairs or helping someone stand up. The space isn’t huge, but we’ve managed to fit in the tables we need. There’s a ceiling fan that wobbles a little when it’s on the highest setting, so we usually keep it on medium. The street outside is mostly residential, so it’s quieter than the main road, which is nice when you’re trying to talk to someone about their back pain. We have a clock on the wall that’s always five minutes fast, but we never bother to fix it because it helps keep us on schedule. Most of our patients live nearby and walk over. We hear about their grandkids or their gardens while they’re doing their exercises. It’s a very practical kind of place. There’s no soft music or fancy lighting. Just the equipment and the work of getting joints to move again. We usually have a bit of a mess near the back where we keep the extra towels and heat packs. We just open up in the morning and stay busy until the sun goes down and the street lights come on.
