Kathiravan Spices

We have been running Kathiravan Spices for quite some time now from our place at 61, Amaravathi Nagar. Bodinayakanur is a place where spices are everywhere, so it made sense for us to start here. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we handle all the sorting and bagging. We don't have a big staff, it's mostly family and a couple of people from the neighborhood who have been with us since the beginning. My father started this work and I just took it over because it felt right. We don't spend money on fancy ads or a polished website because that's not really our style. We just focus on getting the spices ready for the local markets and the traders who come through town. The air around Amaravathi Nagar always has that sharp smell of pepper or the sweetness of cardamom, which I've grown to love over the years. Some days are harder than others, especially when the weather isn't helping, but we keep at it. We don't have a mission statement or any of that corporate talk. We just want to do our job and make sure the bags are filled correctly. If you walk past number 61, you'll see us working away. We’ve kept the same old sign out front even though the paint is starting to flake off. It feels like home to us, and we don't plan on moving anywhere else. It’s just how we do things here.
