Kathir & Company

Kathir & Company is based at number 42 on the Vadamadurai Main Road in Eriodu. Being right on a main road means we see a lot of traffic passing by all day long. It's a busy spot, but it makes things a lot easier for people to find us when they need to. We’ve been operating from this same address for a long time. It’s a small place, nothing too big or modern. We do a bit of everything here. Mostly it’s about managing the goods that come through the door and getting them sorted. We have a small staff of local people. Some have been here since we first opened the doors. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. You walk in and you see the work happening right there in front of you. It can get a bit disorganized when we have a big shipment arriving, but we eventually sort it all out. The heat can be a bit much in the summer months inside. We just keep the doors wide open for some air and keep working. We aren't looking to expand into some massive corporation. We’re happy with our little spot on Vadamadurai Main Road. It’s where we belong and we know the area well. We know the other shopkeepers nearby and we help each other out. It’s a community thing for us. We don't have a mission statement or any of that stuff. We just come in, do the work, and head home.
