Karuppaya Stores

Karuppaya Stores is located right on the Madurai Main Raod in Vadipatti. If you are driving through, you have probably seen our sign out front. It is a basic spot where we sell all kinds of items people use in their kitchens and houses. The shop isn't very large, but we manage to fit a lot of inventory inside. Sometimes boxes are stacked up near the entrance when a new delivery arrives. We don’t have fancy displays or anything like that. It’s just rows of goods and us waiting to help you. The main road is always noisy with buses and trucks, but inside it’s just the usual business. Neighbors come by to pick up small things like matches or tea powder. We know most of the people who live around here by their names. It feels good to be part of the community in this way. We don’t spend money on advertising; people just know we are here. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we keep going anyway. It is just honest work every day of the week. We make sure the floor is swept and the items are reachable. There is a lot of history in this part of Madurai, and we like being a small piece of it. Just a regular store for regular people who live nearby.
