Jpn Stores

Jpn Stores is tucked away at 24 B, Jawahar Puram Street in K Pudhur. Unlike the shops on the main road, we are on a smaller street, so it’s a bit quieter here. Most of our customers are the people who live in the houses right next to us or just a few doors down. We have been here for a long time, and the shop hasn't changed much over the years. We sell the usual household items, like spices, oil, and cleaning supplies. Sometimes we have some fresh vegetables if we managed to get them from the market in the morning. The shop is basically a front room of the house that we converted into a store. It means we are always around if someone knocks on the door even if we are officially closed. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the name painted above the door. It’s a bit dark inside sometimes because we don't use too many lights to save on the bill. We know everyone’s name and whose kids are growing up. It’s not a place where you’ll find fancy imported goods. It’s just the stuff people use every day in their kitchens. We keep a ledger for the regulars, and they pay us at the end of the month. It's just a simple, local way of doing things that works for everyone here.
