Josikashree Garments & Washes LLP is located on the second floor at Door No. 53 A. We are on Nanmai Tharuvar Kovil Arisikara Street, which is a bit of a mouthful to say if you aren't from around here. Being on the second floor means we get a bit of a view of the street below, which is usually quite busy with people going to the temple or the local markets. Arisikara Street has its own character, with lots of old buildings and small shops. Our space is dedicated to garments and washing processes. It can get a bit damp and warm because of the nature of the work, but we have enough fans to keep the air moving. We aren't a big corporation with fancy offices. It’s a working floor where things actually get done. You can hear the machines running for most of the day. The staff is mostly local people who have been doing this kind of work for years. We don't have any formal dress codes or anything; we just wear what’s comfortable for the job. Sometimes the stairs are a bit much at the end of a long day, but it’s a good location for us. We just keep our heads down and focus on the garments that need finishing. It’s a busy, noisy, and productive place to be. We have been in this part of the city for a while now and the tea shop downstairs is our favorite spot for quick breaks between shifts.
