We have been here at No. 33 Ashok Nagar for quite some time now. Most people around here know Jasmine Pharmacy Pvt. Ltd. just by the green sign out front. It is not a very big place, but we try to keep most of the medicines people ask for regularly. Sometimes the shelves get a bit messy when a big shipment comes in, and we spend the whole afternoon just checking boxes and putting things away. It gets quite busy in the evenings when people are coming back from work or the doctor’s clinic down the road. We usually just have two or three of us behind the counter. My chair is a bit squeaky, and the fan makes a clicking noise, but it works fine for us. We spend a lot of time reading handwriting on slips of paper and making sure everything is correct. On rainy days, the water pools a bit near the entrance, so we have to keep a mop handy. It’s just a normal pharmacy life, really. We talk to the neighbors, tell them which tonic might taste better, and keep the lights on until late. Sometimes people just stop by to ask for directions because Ashok Nagar can be a bit confusing if you aren't from here. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. Just the racks full of boxes and a small fridge for the cold stuff. It's a steady routine that keeps us busy from morning till night.
