Lakshman Pharmaceutical Ltd. sits right on Azad Road in Gandhi Nagar, specifically at number 16. It is a busy part of the neighborhood. We have been operating out of this building for a long time. It’s got that old Gandhi Nagar feel to it, where everyone knows what everyone else is doing. The building itself is a bit older, with some cracks in the plaster, but it stays cool in the summer. We spend our time managing the pharmaceutical stocks and keeping the logs updated. There’s a lot of dust from the road that gets in, so we spend half our time cleaning the shelves. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We have a few delivery bikes that go in and out all day long. Sometimes the traffic on Azad Road gets so bad that nothing moves for an hour. We just sit and wait it out. There’s a tea shop just two doors down where we get our morning snacks. The team here at Lakshman Pharmaceutical Ltd. is small, just a handful of locals. We don't have a big corporate office or anything. It’s just us and the medicine boxes. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the stockroom gets a bit messy when a big order comes in. It’s just a normal day-to-day life here. We aren't trying to change the world, just doing the work that comes our way. The neighbors are good people and it feels like home.
