Everest Machineries

We are out at the SIDCO Industrial Estate in Kappalur. Our spot is BS 11[P]. Being in an industrial estate means it's always busy around here. There are trucks moving and the sound of manufacturing everywhere. Everest Machineries is right in the middle of all that. We have a lot of heavy equipment and parts in our unit. It’s definitely not a place where you’d want to wear your best clothes. There's usually some grease and metal shavings around. We spend our days working on various machines and dealing with local businesses that need help with their gear. It’s hard work, but we’re used to it. The unit is functional. We have benches for repairs and space for the bigger machines. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters. We just answer the phone and do the work. Kappalur is a bit far out for some, but for what we do, it's the right place to be. We’ve been here for a while and know most of the people in the neighboring units. It’s a community of makers and fixers. We just try to keep our head down and get the orders finished on time. It isn't a glamorous life, but it’s what we do. We're just a small crew in a big industrial area trying to keep everything running.
