Ek Arjhuna Turmeric Godown

The air around here usually smells like turmeric. We are located at number 38 in the SBI Colony, which is part of Thirunagar Colony. It is a big godown, basically a giant room for storing turmeric sacks. We spend most of our hours hauling heavy bags and stacking them so they don't fall over. It is messy work because the yellow powder gets on everything, including our clothes and the floor. You can't really avoid it. We have some heavy wooden pallets and a few old scales for weighing the bags. The building is sturdy, which is what matters for keeping the moisture out. If the turmeric gets damp, it is a big problem, so we are always checking the roof and the walls. The SBI Colony area is usually fairly busy, with people coming and going. We don't have a front desk or anything like that. If you come by, you will likely find us in the back or near the loading dock. Thirunagar Colony is a good spot for this kind of work. We have been doing this at Ek Arjhuna Turmeric Godown for a long time. It is not a glamorous job, and it leaves your hands stained yellow by the end of the shift. But we know the business and we know the product. We just keep the sacks moving and the floors as dry as possible.
